Most recently, Edward worked for Crest Nicholson, Midlands where he successfully took on the role of Development Executive for two years. Responsible for setting up the Midlands region, Edward was successful with the number of land acquisitions he achieved as well as securing planning consent for a number of schemes.

Edward has a strong record of delivering high-quality projects with his wealth of knowledge and experience and is looking forward to leading the team to continuing Spitfires upwards trajectory over the next five years in line with the business plan.

He comments: “I am really excited to head up and join a growing team and rapidly expanding business. Personally, I am really enthusiastic about the product that Spitfire Bespoke Homes deliver due to their unique selling point and extremely high standards. As a team we have ambitions to continue to grow the land portfolio and have identified a number of land opportunities in the market, with a keen interest to acquire both short and long term opportunities. I’m really pleased to be part of this exciting time and part of the Spitfire team.”

Sophie Smith joins the team from Redrow Homes where she worked for the last four and a half years across two regional offices, the South West and the Midlands. Sophie began her career with Redrow Homes as a graduate working her way through the ranks to her most recent post as Land Manager, before joining Spitfire.

She brings with her comprehensive knowledge and insight into the industry, whilst playing an active role as a keen ambassador for change. She is a member of the Women in Property Midlands committee which creates opportunities and inspires change for women working in the property and construction industry.

Sophie comments: “I am really pleased to be working for Spitfire Bespoke Homes and have joined at an exciting time for the company due to the newly formed land department.
