Warwickshire-based luxury house builder Spitfire Property Group is flying high after selling out its latest scheme, Broadway Cottages in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.

The scheme of three and four bedroom cottages, marketed by Savills, proved highly sought-after with sales rates far exceeding expectations.

David Jervis, managing director at Spitfire Property Group says: “To have sold all the homes at our Broadway Cottages development is a brilliant achievement. The feedback has been hugely rewarding with purchasers commenting on the attention to detail both externally and internally, the top–quality workmanship and high level of specification.”

Spitfire has also achieved an early reservation for one of its properties at the newly-released Mill Hollow scheme on Mill Lane, Bentley Heath, in Dorridge. The luxury scheme, which has already achieved a high level of interest, boasts 5 large, executive, townhouses. Prices start at £450,000, with each property benefitting from designer Hatt kitchens and Porcelanosa bathrooms.

Site-works have also started on 9 three and four-bedroom contemporary townhouses at The Forum scheme in Lewis Lane, Cirencester, which will be released this spring. Working together with the local planning authority, Spitfire has achieved planning permission on this highly sensitive site in the heart of the historic Roman market town, which has the ancient Roman Forum located partially below it.

Additionally, planning permissions have recently been obtained for further developments in Dorridge, Moreton-in-Marsh and Cheltenham, whilst planning applications are about to be submitted for developments in Knowle, Stratford-upon-Avon and a second scheme in Cheltenham.

Mr Jervis added: “Despite a tough market we had a very successful 2011, we have fully sold our Chalgrove scheme and interest in our other developments is high. We have secured a number of planning permissions on some excellent sites situated in prime locations and are very much looking forward to what 2012 holds for Spitfire.”

Mr Jervis attributed the success of the company down to the availability of substantial cash resources from joint-venture partner IM Properties.

“Funds from IM Properties means Spitfire does not need to rely on bank funding and can maximise the potential of a wide range of exciting residential development opportunities. We have a quick decision making process which enables us to react rapidly when suitable development opportunities are presented to us. The link-up with IM Properties has been a huge success and the intention is to focus on the acquisition of more prime sites, with or without existing planning consent in place, and develop bespoke, individual, high-quality residential schemes in central England down to the M25 and M4 corridors.”

Spitfire Property Group prides itself on creating bespoke homes that are designed to an exceptionally high specification and feature the highest quality fixtures and fittings, appealing to an aspirational audience.

Contractors started on site at Lewis Lane, Cirencester to build 9 high specification three and four bedroomed two and three storey townhouses.
