COVID-19: An update

Throughout the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Spitfire Bespoke Homes continues to regularly monitor the situation and review business operations accordingly. The safety of our customers, staff and suppliers remains paramount and we will continue to follow the guidelines and advice of Government and the World Health Organisation.

The majority of our sites are now open, with construction teams observing Construction Leadership Council (CLC) guidelines. The opening of these sites allows us to progress these projects, helping to minimise delays for our customers. In order to proceed with construction in a safe and responsible manner, we are working closely with our partners and suppliers to ensure that social distancing is strictly adhered to at all times.

Following guidance from Government, our Sales Offices and Show Homes are now open to view on an appointment-only basis. A number of measures have been implemented for the safety of our customers and staff.

The majority of our staff have now resumed work from our head office in Solihull, however we have introduced a number of stringent protocols and procedures for the safety of our staff; this means that access for external visitors is currently not permitted.

Customers

Visiting sales offices & show homes

Our sales offices and show homes are available to view on an appointment-only basis.

This practice is designed to help manage the flow of visitors, ensuring that social distancing is possible and providing an opportunity for surfaces to be wiped down between appointments.

Existing customers

For customers scheduled to complete on the purchase of a new home, you should now have been made aware if your scheduled completion date has been amended as a result of COVID-19. If you have any further concerns, please contact us.

If you are currently within your 2-year Homeowner Warranty and have an issue with your home which requires our attention, we will attend to works in line with social distancing guidelines.

If you have a Customer Care appointment scheduled, but you are currently self-isolating then it is imperative that you inform us of this in advance so we can rearrange.

Staff

Office-based employees

Our┬áSolihull office, The Gate, has now reopened with stringent safety protocols in place. The majority of our staff are now working from the office, but we are currently not accepting external visitors to the premises – if you have a meeting scheduled, please contact the organiser for alternative arrangements.

Site-based teams

Construction work has recommenced on the majority of our sites, in line with Construction Leadership Council (CLC) guidelines. This return to construction activity is managed in partnership with our supply chain to implement strict working practices for the safety of our employees, suppliers and the wider public.

Suppliers and subcontractors

We will continue to work closely with suppliers and subcontractors during this difficult time.

We recognise that these are testing times for all businesses and as on-site production is limited, and we will be in regular communication with our supply chain to manage the situation and ensure that Government guidelines around social distancing are observed.
